Colonial Bible Church stands in the long line of God’s people that have historically valued the glory of God through the proclamation of God’s Word and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We are the grateful recipients of that grand heritage handed down from the early church in Acts through the great movements of church history such as the Protestant Reformation, the Puritans, and the Great Awakenings of the 18th Century in New England. This is where we find our heritage and chose the name, Colonial Bible Church, to identify with the theology and focus of these great movements so mightily used by God.

We gratefully affirm, in a distinctive way, the 5 Solas of the Reformation and the Reformed heritage that has been passed down through the Reformed Baptist tradition. It was through these times and the focus on the expositional preaching of God’s Word that the Gospel was largely recovered from periods of darkness and apathy.  We pray that Colonial Bible Church will faithfully preserve the heritage we have received in keeping with the Word of God for the glory of God.
