Terry Johnston

Elder

Pat Fairchild has been an integral part of Colonial since its founding in 2002, serving the church in many capacities. He bears the unique distinction of serving as an elder, but on a personal note, is also Pastor Brian’s father (of course, one could easily mistake them for brothers). He has worked for many years as an exploration geologist in the oil and gas industry. Pat long served as a deacon at Colonial before coming part of the elder team. He leads our weekly times of worship through music and is often one of the first people to greet those who walk through the door of Colonial on any given Sunday. Pat and his wife, Martha (also the church pianist), have been married for over 50 years and have an adult son and daughter, and 7 grandchildren.

Terry Johnston first came to Colonial in the Spring of 2005, seeking a church that faithfully proclaimed God’s Word for God’s glory. Since then, he has been a faithful member, encourager, and servant of Christ at Colonial. Terry has been involved in organizing and leading some of our mid-week Bible studies in the past, and continues to assist in the Sunday worship services and communion. He is passionately committed to sound doctrine in the life of the church and enjoys the constant study of God’s Word as well as listening to biblical preaching. He Terry owned his own car business for many years in Odessa, and still works alongside his son who has taken ownership. Terry and his wife, Terri (affectionately known as "Terri Mom"), married in 1976 and have an adult son and daughter, who have given them 7 grandchildren.

Keith Kimbrough

Deacon

Keith Kimbrough first came to Colonial in the summer of 2005 as an intern with Oxy Petroleum during his summer break. In God’s providence, Keith returned after graduation the following year to work for Oxy full-time as an electrical engineer, a post he still maintains today. He holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in electrical engineering (yes, he really is that smart!). Keith has been a faithful member at Colonial since coming back to Midland. He has served for many years as the Deacon for Finance, faithfully assisting the church in overseeing matters of finance with integrity and diligence. Keith married his wife, Stephanie, in 2009. The Lord has blessed them with three daughters.
