Every Christian is a product of God’s overwhelming and inexplicable grace. Without it we would be irreversibly lost and without hope. That massive reality towers over our lives, it defines who we are, and it demands a verdict with our lives. The question then for every follower of Christ must be, “how do I live in response to God’s grace?”
On September 7th, Colonial Bible Church is pleased to partner with Ligonier Ministries in bringing Dr. Steven Lawson to Midland, Texas. Dr. Lawson will be addressing the topic of the Christian’s life in response to God’s grace, and how God’s grace should reflect His holiness in our daily lives.
For over four decades Dr. R.C. Sproul and Ligonier Ministries have made it their mission to declare the holiness of God, and to see Christians grow in their understanding of Who God is, what they believe, why they believe it, and how they should live in light of those Truths. Ligonier Ministries has long been a partner of Christians and the local church in producing Biblical teaching series on radio and other media, Tabletalk Magazine (a monthly publication to deepen the Christian’s life and mind), as well as publishing many other books and resources.
Dr. Lawson is a Teaching Fellow at Ligonier, as well as Founder and President of One Passion Ministries. He also serves as Professor of Preaching at the Master’s Seminary, serves on the Executive Staff of the Alliance of Confessing Evangelicals, as well as having served as a pastor in Arkansas and Alabama for over thirty years. Dr. Lawson has authored many books and is in demand as a teacher and conference speaker around the world.
